About me
Hello, I’m Dr Craig Marshall.
I’m an Intensive Care Consultant with experience working across a range of clinical settings and supporting doctors at different stages of their careers.
Throughout my training and into consultancy, I’ve worked closely with foundation doctors, core trainees, and registrars—teaching, supervising, and helping them navigate the challenges of training and career progression.
Over time, I’ve developed a clear understanding of:
What makes a strong trainee
Where people tend to struggle
How different career decisions play out in the longer term
I’ve also seen how difficult it can be to make decisions about your career in medicine—whether that’s choosing a specialty, preparing for applications, or deciding whether to change direction.
Many doctors face these decisions without clear, practical guidance, which can lead to uncertainty and second-guessing.
